Juventus vs Genoa 4-1, Highlight Liga Italia 2008, week 10

JUVENTUS

Manninger - 6.5: Genoa had their chances but, despite this, Manninger was not forced into too many saves. Was alert in coming off his line, and could do nothing on Milito's penalty.

Grygera - 8.0: Outstanding performance from the Czech international. Opened the scoring with an excellent individual effort, and also delivered the cross for Amauri's goal.

Legrottaglie - 5.0: Has received praise in the media of late but tonight he struggled. Did not look physically fit, and had a hard time against Milito, also conceding the late penalty.

Chiellini - 6.5: Also had his hands full against the brilliant Milito, and was turned by him once in the first half. However, still put in a a courageous display at the back.

Molinaro - 6.5: Often criticised is Molinaro, but he did well tonight, even if once again his crossing was abysmal. Missed a great chance on 37 minutes to make it 3-0.

Marchionni - 6.0: Worked his socks off and showed good energy levels, but failed to catch the eye. Nevertheless, did a job for the team.

Sissoko - 6.5: Usually charges around all over the field, but tonight Sissoko was more disciplined, and he largely did a good job.

Tiago - 6.0: Neat and tidy in possession, but did not stamp any authority on the game. Still not really convincing, but he must be praised for his sacrifice this evening.

Nedved - 6.0: Similar assessment to Marchionni down the other flank. Never stopped running, but did not contribute too much offensively.

Del Piero - 8.0: Inspired once again was Del Piero. Created two of Juve's four goals - the first for Grygera and the third for Iaquinta. Also put Molinaro clean through on goal, while he should have scored late on himself.

Amauri - 8.0: Led the line superbly, holding the ball up and bringing others into play. Unplayable in the air, he scored with a bullet header, and also created a great chance for Del Piero late on.

Subs: Camoranesi 6.5, Iaquinta 7.0, Giovinco N/A

GENOA

Rubinho - 6.0: May have conceded four tonight, but there really was little he could do on any of these strikes. A few nervy moments on crosses though.

Biava - 5.0: Struggled in the air against Amauri at times, and was outjumped by the Brazilian for Juve's second goal.

Ferrari - 5.0: Was to blame for the Amauri goal as he just let the attacker run straight past him. His positioning was also suspect on Iaquinta's effort. Missed a good chance at 0-1 too when he headed over.

Criscito - 6.0: The best of the suspect Genoa back three, but this will come as little consolation when you concede four goals.

Rossi - 6.0: A very under-rated player is the 30-year-old midfielder, who put the miles in tonight without much reward.

Motta - 6.5: Really classy in the middle-of-the-park, he more than held his own against the Juve midfielders, and will feel especially hard done-by with the 4-1 scoreline.

Juric - 6.5: Worked well together with Motta, and it will may come as a surprise to those who didn't watch the game, but Motta and Juric actually controlled spells of the game in midfield.

Potenza - 6.0: Relatively steady down the right hand side, and did not suffer against Nedved, even if he offered nothing as an attacking force.

Gasbarroni - 5.0: Apart from a deflected cross that hit the post, Gasbarroni failed to make any impact at all, and he was rightfully withdrawn at half time.

Milito - 8.0: Tomorrow the most famous prince in the world, Prince Charles, celebrates his 60th birthday. Another 'Prince', Milito, could not rejoice a Genoa victory tonight, but he could content himself with a goal, and another superb personal display.

Palladino - 6.0: Wanted to prove himself against the club who let him go, and at times tried too hard.Missed a great chance on 48 minutes when he kicked at thin air from Milito's cut-back.

Subs: Sculli 6.5, Bocchetti 6.0, Sokratis 5.0
