Catania vs Torino, Controvertial Freekick Shoot !
video of Catania vs Torino, Controvertial Freekick Shoot !
ROME (AP)—In the latest fashion statement out of Italy, soccer players are dropping their shorts to score goals.
Catania, a team in the country’s top division, unveiled the new look while taking a free kick. The players lined up in a wall and dropped their shorts in an effort to block the goalkeeper’s vision.
The Sicilian team carried out the maneuver to perfection Sunday. Three players dropped their shorts practically to their knees so Torino goalie Matteo Sereni couldn’t see the kick by Giuseppe Mascara, who scored during Catania’s 3-2 victory.
Catania is coached by Walter Zenga, a former goalkeper on Italy’s national team.
“This is a strategy that Zenga tries continually in training,” Pietro Lo Monaco, the club’s chief executive, told RAI state radio Monday.
Former referees coordinator Paolo Casarin called the move “unsportsmanlike and in bad taste.”
“It’s a trick that should not be tolerated anymore by the referees,” he said.
Lo Monaco replied: “A trick? I wouldn’t say so. It’s up to the referee to decide if it should be penalized, otherwise I don’t see where the problem is. … Good taste is relative.”
Strategy Freekick Aneh A'la Catania !Ada banyak strategi untuk mengeksekusi tendangan bebas.
… Soal selera itu sangat relatif," sanggah dia

Milan vs Chievo 1-0, Highlight Liga Italia 2008, week 10
MILAN
Abbiati - 7.0: Did not have too much to do, but made one excellent save from Bentivoglio and was very alert in coming off his line.
Bonera - 6.0: Relatively sound defensively but made little impact as an attacking force. A few crosses but was reluctant to push forward.
Kaladze - 6.5: Steady in defence alongside Favalli, helping to keep Chievo star man Pellissier quiet for most of the game.
Favalli - 8.0: Favalli is often criticised on these player rating columns for being 'old', 'slow' and 'past-it'. However, this afternoon he was simply immaculate, making numerous tackles and interceptions. This is no wind-up - he really was brilliant!
Jankulovski - 8.0: Outstanding down the left, as he was up and down the flank from the first to last minute. Had a number of efforts on goal too, and would have scored were it not for a brilliant Sorrentino save from his free kick.
Flamini - 6.0: Was hailed by most experts as the signing of the summer after arriving from Milan, but he still has not settled. Seems overawed at times.
Gattuso - 6.5: Fiery display from the midfielder, who never stopped getting stuck in. Gattuso is having a fine moment at present.
Seedorf - 6.0: Drifted in and out of the match, but generally did okay. Did not create too much, but also did not waste possession.
Kaka - 7.0: Not at his inspirational best, but still a real danger when he broke forward. Linked up well with Ronaldinho, and scored the decisive and controversial match-winning penalty.
Ronaldinho - 7.0: Showed further signs of improvement this afternoon. Demanded the ball and used it well. Created a great chance for Pato with an inspired pass.
Inzaghi - 5.5: Not one of Inzaghi's better outings. Struggled to get into the game, and wasn't on the same wavelength as Kaka and Ronaldinho at times.
Subs: Pato 6.5
CHIEVO
Sorrentino - 8.0: Outstanding today with a string of superb stops to keep the score down. The save from Jankulovski's free kick was world class.
Malago - 5.0: Struggled down his right hand side, and was unable to stop the Jankulovski attacking wave.
Mandelli - 6.5: Coped relatively well against Inzaghi, although he may feel he could have done better down the other end when he vollyed wide on 60 minutes.
Yepes - 7.5: Has impressed since joining in the summer, and he was superb today making countless key tackles and interceptions.
Mantovani - 6.0: Not troubled at all down his side, mainly due to Bonera staying back. Like the Milan man, Mantovani also rarely foraged forward.
Pinzi - 5.5: Worked hard, but was the least active of the Chievo midfielders. Did not catch the eye too much.
Bentivoglio - 6.5: Unlucky to give away a penalty, and apart from this he was impressive. Always involved in the action, and came close to equalising with a fierce long shot.
Marcolini - 6.0: Neat and tidy in the middle of the park with that sweet left foot of his, but created very little.
Langella - 6.5: Dangerous in the first half down the left hand side, where his trickery caused a few problems. Faded after the break and was substituted.
Luciano - 7.0: Chievo's best outfield player. A real bright spark every time he touched the ball, and also had a few efforts on goal.
Pellissier - 4.5: For the second week running Pellissier was a major disappointment. Completely taken out of the game by Favalli and Kaladze. Did not get a kick.
Subs: Esposito 6.0, Iunco 6.0, Italiano N/A

Juventus vs Genoa 4-1, Highlight Liga Italia 2008, week 10
JUVENTUS
Manninger - 6.5: Genoa had their chances but, despite this, Manninger was not forced into too many saves. Was alert in coming off his line, and could do nothing on Milito's penalty.
Grygera - 8.0: Outstanding performance from the Czech international. Opened the scoring with an excellent individual effort, and also delivered the cross for Amauri's goal.
Legrottaglie - 5.0: Has received praise in the media of late but tonight he struggled. Did not look physically fit, and had a hard time against Milito, also conceding the late penalty.
Chiellini - 6.5: Also had his hands full against the brilliant Milito, and was turned by him once in the first half. However, still put in a a courageous display at the back.
Molinaro - 6.5: Often criticised is Molinaro, but he did well tonight, even if once again his crossing was abysmal. Missed a great chance on 37 minutes to make it 3-0.
Marchionni - 6.0: Worked his socks off and showed good energy levels, but failed to catch the eye. Nevertheless, did a job for the team.
Sissoko - 6.5: Usually charges around all over the field, but tonight Sissoko was more disciplined, and he largely did a good job.
Tiago - 6.0: Neat and tidy in possession, but did not stamp any authority on the game. Still not really convincing, but he must be praised for his sacrifice this evening.
Nedved - 6.0: Similar assessment to Marchionni down the other flank. Never stopped running, but did not contribute too much offensively.
Del Piero - 8.0: Inspired once again was Del Piero. Created two of Juve's four goals - the first for Grygera and the third for Iaquinta. Also put Molinaro clean through on goal, while he should have scored late on himself.
Amauri - 8.0: Led the line superbly, holding the ball up and bringing others into play. Unplayable in the air, he scored with a bullet header, and also created a great chance for Del Piero late on.
Subs: Camoranesi 6.5, Iaquinta 7.0, Giovinco N/A
GENOA
Rubinho - 6.0: May have conceded four tonight, but there really was little he could do on any of these strikes. A few nervy moments on crosses though.
Biava - 5.0: Struggled in the air against Amauri at times, and was outjumped by the Brazilian for Juve's second goal.
Ferrari - 5.0: Was to blame for the Amauri goal as he just let the attacker run straight past him. His positioning was also suspect on Iaquinta's effort. Missed a good chance at 0-1 too when he headed over.
Criscito - 6.0: The best of the suspect Genoa back three, but this will come as little consolation when you concede four goals.
Rossi - 6.0: A very under-rated player is the 30-year-old midfielder, who put the miles in tonight without much reward.
Motta - 6.5: Really classy in the middle-of-the-park, he more than held his own against the Juve midfielders, and will feel especially hard done-by with the 4-1 scoreline.
Juric - 6.5: Worked well together with Motta, and it will may come as a surprise to those who didn't watch the game, but Motta and Juric actually controlled spells of the game in midfield.
Potenza - 6.0: Relatively steady down the right hand side, and did not suffer against Nedved, even if he offered nothing as an attacking force.
Gasbarroni - 5.0: Apart from a deflected cross that hit the post, Gasbarroni failed to make any impact at all, and he was rightfully withdrawn at half time.
Milito - 8.0: Tomorrow the most famous prince in the world, Prince Charles, celebrates his 60th birthday. Another 'Prince', Milito, could not rejoice a Genoa victory tonight, but he could content himself with a goal, and another superb personal display.
Palladino - 6.0: Wanted to prove himself against the club who let him go, and at times tried too hard.Missed a great chance on 48 minutes when he kicked at thin air from Milito's cut-back.
Subs: Sculli 6.5, Bocchetti 6.0, Sokratis 5.0

Palermo vs Inter Milan 0-2, Highlight Liga Italia 2008, week 10

Bovo: 5.0- Will be disappointed with his performance tonight and vented his frustration by picking up a yellow card when he caught Cambiasso with a late tackle.

Viera: 6.5- The Frenchman stood his ground tonight and earned his pay-cheque with a workmanlike performance.
Cruz: 7.0- 'El Jardinero' turned it on after a quiet first half and was unlucky not to have found the back of the net.

Manninger: 6.0- Was merely a pedestrian between the sticks tonight and did not see much action.
Molinaro: 6.0- No glaring mistakes and managed to push forward on a couple of occasions but the final product was poor.
Chiellini: 7.0- Took Bianchi completely out of the match and put him in his back pocket.

Juventus travelled to the San Paolo stadium to face Napoli in a classic Serie A fixture. They were looking for their first league victory in almost a month, while 6th placed Napoli were also coming off a 3-2 defeat to Genoa.
Juve coach Claudio Ranieri faced some defensive problems as Jonathan Zebina, Nicola Legrottaglie, and Olof Mellberg, as well as keeper Gianluigi Buffon, were all out injured. Dario Knezevic and Giorgio Chiellini in the center of the defence, with Alex Manninger deputising in goal. Ranieri played with a 4-4-2 formation with captain Alex Del Piero and Amauri up front, while his Napoli colleague Edy Reja with a 3-5-2 line up in which former Bianconero Marcelo Zalayeta and Ezequiel Lavezzi played in attack.
First Half
As expected, there was a huge crowd in the stadium for this match, as is always the case when Napoli face a big side. The first chances were for the home side, who started the game brightly and seemed to benefit from the boisterous home crowd.
In the 5th minute, midfielder Christian Maggio played in a good cross for Michele Contini, who sent in a low cross from inside the area for Zalayeta, but it was just out of the striker’s reach.
Juve responded immediately at the other end, as Hasan Salihamidzic made a good run towards the byline and played the ball in for Christian Poulse, whose shot deflected off Fabiano Santacroce but forced Gennaro Iezzo to make a great diving save (7’).
Around the quarter hour mark, the old Del Piero-Nedved connection conjured up a couple of chances for Juve, as first the captain played the ball back to the Golden Ball winner, who had a chance to shoot from the edge of the area, but his effort sailed high over the crossbar (14’).
A minute later, Nedved made a good run at the Napoli defence and played a sliding pass to Del Piero, but Santacroce cleared the danger with a fine tackle.
A big chance came in the 23rd minute, when Del Piero sent in a perfect cross for Amauri, but the Brazilian striker headed the ball wide from a great position. A similar chance came four minutes later for Napoli, when Marek Hamsik headed the ball down and forced Manninger into an impressive diving save (27’).
Around ten minutes later, Del Piero came close to opening the score with one of his trademark free kicks, given for a foul by Paolo Cannavaro on Amauri, which curled nicely around the wall only for Iezzo to tip the ball over the crossbar.
There were no more chances in the remainder of a somewhat disappointing first half.
Second Half
The start of the second half wasn’t promising, as both sides made a lot of mistakes and fired blanks left and right.
The first half-chance came in the 58th minute, when Maggio made a good run, beating two defenders and sending in a dangerous low cross inside the area, which Manninger cleared away with his feet.
Two minutes later, Juve had the ball in the net. It was a well taken strike by Amauri, who met a left-wing cross by Poulsen perfectly and volleyed it past Iezzo, making it 1-0 to the visitors in the 60th minute.
This goal made the match come alive, and it took only four minutes for the Azzurri to get an equaliser. Manuele Blasi received the ball on the right wing and sent in a cross that Hamsik, who hadn’t had a great match until that point, headed past a hapless Manninger (64’).
The match remained intense after this goal, but both sides played very cautiously as they seemed content with the 1-1 tie. However, a mistake by Juve defender Dario Knezevic allowed Napoli to take the lead out of nothing, as his clearence bounced to Lavezzi, who had no hesitation and pulled the trigger, making it 2-1 and turning the match on its head 11 minutes before full time.
In the last ten minutes, Juve looked out of sorts as they were not expecting to concede a second, and Ranieri decided to bring in starlet Sebastian Giovinco in the hope of drawing level. However, a few minutes after Lavezzi’s goal, it was the home side who came close again, as in the 83rd minute Hamsik volleyed a shot just over the crossbar from a dangerous position.
Juve’s last chance came on a dead ball situation, as defender Giorgio Chiellini headed the ball wide on a free kick by Giovinco. In injury time, however, the home side could have the score bigger as a lob by German Denis went just over the bar.
This was the second straight defeat for Claudio Ranieri's team following the 2-1 reverse at home against Palermo, while Napoli lived up to their terrific start to the season. Ranieri will no doubt be blamed for making the odd decision of replacing Del Piero with defender De Ceglie 20 minutes from the end.
With this victory Napoli momentarily leap to the top of the table with 14 points, while Juventus are 11th with 9 points.

Fiorentina vs Reggina 3-0, Highlight Liga Italia 2008, week 7
highlight soccer video, serie A Italia 2008,Fiorentina vs Reggina 3-0
cuplikan pertandingan sepakbola liga Italia 2008, pekan 7,Fiorentina vs Reggina 3-0
Reggina got the game started and they looked a little shaky early on. The Calabrian side have been struggling and they are desperate for points. Fiorentina on the other hand have been blowing hot and cold, but they started this game well. Santana fed Pazzini in the first minute but the hit-man was wrongly flagged offside. Nevio Orlandi’s side was lucky to escape as Pazzini was through on goal and he would have scored.
Alberto Gilardino started this one on the bench with, perhaps, the Champions League in mind but he was hardly missed though as Pazzini was being the nuisance up front. Jovetic was playing just behind and he was outstanding, putting pinpoint passes for fun. Reggina hardly had a look in as the Viola created all the play. Chances were few and far between but to their credit, the relegation strugglers did put the home side in difficulty as Viggiani pulled the strings.
At times Fiorentina would take their feet off the gas and this allowed the Amaranto, who were playing in their white strip, to enjoy possession and pass their way around. With Adrian Mutu still out with injury, Jovetic took over free kick duties but his effort was poor following Cirillo’s foul on Pazzini. Seconds later Kuzmanovic played a delightful angled ball into the path of Pazzini but he was late coming in and just missed contact.
Jovetic was in inspirational form as he left Lanzaro for dead following Comotto’s cross but the Montenegrin’s strike was charged down by Cirillo. Both teams fought hard but neither had the cutting edge up front. La Viola always looked more likely to score but they panicked in the final third. Reggina soon settled down and began to find their rhythm although at times both sides played some uninspiring football. Jovetic was by far the best player on the pitch and he stung Campagnolo’s hands with a powerful drive. It was a rocket of a shot but the Reggina man did well to stop it hitting the back of the net.
The Calabrian’s hardly created any chances worthy of mention as the Tuscan side dealt with every threat comfortably. Gobbi came closest for Fiorenina when he was set up by Jovetic but his powerful drive zoomed just over the cross bar as Cesare Prandelli’s side kept banging on the door. Things got worse for Reggina after Santana was hacked by Campagnolo in the box. The goalkeeper was sent off and a penalty was given. It was rather harsh. Pazzini stepped and calmly slotted home by sending substitute goalkeeper Puggioni the wrong way. Reggina had no reply as the home side went into the break a goal to the good.
Second Half
The Viola began the second half where they left off and it was Kuzmanovic who tested Puggioni straight away as he tried his luck from distance with a powerful effort. The Calabrian’s were under the cosh again and they knew they had their work cut out. It was always going to be tough with ten men and Orlandi knew it as he jumped around the dug out in frustration, thinking about what might have been if things were level on the pitch.
Things almost got worse for the coach when Jovetic raced through only to scuff his shot wide as he left Cirillo chasing thin air. Fiorentina were toying with their opponents as they kept the ball well and made Reggina chase hard. The gap in class was clear to see as the away side struggled. The Amaranto had lost their previous three away games coming into this one and they were heading for their fourth away loss of term. Just one goal scored on the road this term and it didn’t look like they would get another against the Viola.
To their credit, the Reggio Calabria side battled away and did what they could. Lanzaro made he most of some space down on the right and found Cozza unmarked in the box but the playmaker’s header went over the bar. Frey hardly moved as the Viola escaped unscathed.
Fiorentina stepped off the gas and Reggina sent the warning shots but they couldn’t pull one back as the numerical disadvantage showed. Supersub Alberto Gilardino made sure of the points on 75 minutes to grab his fifth goal of the season as he beat the offside trap and beat Puggioni with an exemplary finish following Montolivo’s excellent pass. The Italian internationals combined well to ensure their side picked up the win they deserved.
The scoring did not stop there though as the Viola grabbed a third. Gilardino bagged his brace as a howler from Puggioni allowed the Italian to slot home into an unguarded net. The Reggina 'Keeper came, saw but never conquered the long ball as it went over him in an calamity of a mistake.
Teams Fiorentina 4-3-3: Frey, Comotto, Gamberini, Dainelli, Gobbi, Donadel, Felipe Melo, Kuzmanovic(Montolivo), Santana, Pazzini(Gilardino), Jovetic(Osvaldo).
Reggina 4-3-2-1: Campagnolo, Lanzaro, Cirillo, Santos, Costa, Vigiani(Puggioni), Barreto, Carmona, Brienza, Cozza(Di Gennaro), Rakic(Ceravolo).
Goals: Pazzini, Gilardino x 2.
Cards: Campagnolo(Red/Reggina), Comotto(Fiorentina/Yellow), Carmona(Reggina/Yellow)

Cesar -6.0: The Brazilian shot-stopper was hardly troubled as Bologna were defending for most of the game and thus it was an easy night for him in general. Dealt with crosses and corners expertly.
Maicon -6.5: A good showing as usual. His commanding presence in defence ensured any threat was kept at arms length. Showed his penchant for bursting forward and he was useful on the wings as a well as in the middle.
Cordoba -6.0: The Colombian was always wide awake and he kept things short and sharp at the back with his no nonsense defending. However, he spoilt his night by getting himself booked for a silly foul.
Rivas -6.0: A good showing by the big man. Made some timely challenges and his presence was enough to scare the Bologna front men. Always looked confident and he offered ample cover on either flank when Zanetti and Maicon ventured forward.
Zanetti -7.5: Captain fantastic was, as usual, all heart and lungs and he charged up and down the field. His passing and vision was outstanding and he was everywhere. A superb performance by the Nerazzurri hero. We'll leave the mix up for Bologna's goal aside.
Quaresma -6.5: The winger is slowly proving his worth. Worked hard all night and he provided Adriano with the meat and drink he needed on the left. His running with the ball and constant penchant for showboating went down well with the crowd.
Vieira -7.0: Getting back to his best and he played like the Vieira who used to grace the picth at Highbury. A great showing by the big man and he almost double his side's lead in the first half. Solid and sublime.
Muntari -6.0: Tackled, hustled and burst his lungs to get to every ball first. A comfortable and accomplished performance by the former Portsmouth man. He is becoming one of many unsung heroes at San Siro.
Mancini -6.5: Showed the odd glimpse of magic and his runs down the right were a joy to watch. Always unpredictable and a handful for the Bologna defence who couldn't get near him.
Adriano -7.5: A great display by the Brazilian. Looks like he is back to his best already. Lean, fast, sharp and provided the assist for Ibra to give his side the lead. Scored a decent penalty as well. Superb.
Ibrahimovic -8.5: Did everything you could ask from him. His goal, which had echoes of the Roberto Mancini goal for Lazio against Parma in 1998, was out of this world. A genial player and Inter's best on the night.
Subs: Obinna 5.0, Cambiasso 5.5, Stankovic N/A
Bologna
Antonioli -5.5: The 'Keeper looked shaky at times but he was unable to do anything for the goals he let in. He did make a few decent saves on the night though to keep the score line from becoming embarrassing.
Marchini -5.5: Was rash and too eager to slide when he could have stayed on his feet. Always risked getting sent off. Made a few decent tackles but his game ended there.
Moras -6.0: Did the dirty work well as and when required and he got on the score sheet through sheer perseverance as he made the most out of Zanetti and Cordoba's mix up at the back.
Terzi -5.5: A good showing by the defender. Always on hand to cover for his side and he made some decent tackles on Ibrahimovic but at times he went missing.
Bombardini -6.0: One of Bologna's better defender's on the night and he was always ready and alert to do the business for his team. He worked hard and he never gave up the fight.
Mudingayi -6.0: The former Lazio midfielder played his shocks off and he made a valuable contribution all over the pitch. Helped, up front and at the back as he showed his fighting spirit.
Volpi -5.5: His game began brightly but then it seemed to fizzle out as the clock went on. He did what he could and he tried to get the ball rolling on several occasions but it didn't happen. Had a penalty given against him rather unfortunately.
Adailton -5.0: Not one of his best games by any means. Struggled to get going and he didn't really make an impact for his side. Made the odd run and pass but that was it.
Amoroso -5.5: The midfielder just didn't offer his side enough when going forward and he couldn't really get himself involved in the fray.
Valiani -5.0: He failed to repeat the match winning performance which saw his side beat Milan at San Siro in week one. Went missing for large spells and he just didn't perform to his capabilities.
Di Vaio -5.5: The former Juventus striker found it too hard playing up front on his own. He was often left to his own devices and he didn't get the support he needed and it led to him having a very quiet game.
Susunan Pemain:
Inter: Julio Cesar; Maicon, Cordoba, Rivas (Cambiasso 72), Zanetti; Quaresma (Obinna 88), Vieira, Muntari, Mancini (Stankovic 74); Adriano, Ibrahimovic
Bologna: Antonioli; Marchini, Terzi (Coelho 78), Moras, Bombardini; Mudingayi, Volpi (Marazzina 63); Adailton (Zenoni 63), Amoroso, Valiani; Di Vaio

Players Rating Lazio vs Lecce 1-1
Lazio
Carrizo 6 – Could not really do much about Lecce’s goal. Was not really called into action that often after that.
Lichtsteiner 6.5 – Made himself dangerous going forward a number of times on the right wing. A very good summer purchase by Lazio.
Siviglia 6 – Did not make any notable mistakes in defence. A solid display as usual from the central defender.
Rozenhal 6 – Perhaps he could have done better on Lecce’s goal, but overall he did not have much to do.
Radu 5.5 – Was caught out of position for Lecce’s goal, and could not really make himself dangerous going forward. Was replaced on the hour mark by Kolarov (6), who did much better and nearly scored on one of his trademark free kicks.
Brocchi 6 – Saw a lot of the ball and did not make many mistakes, but also didn’t get involved in Lazio’s most dangerous moves. Was replaced by Simone Inzaghi (7) 7 minutes before the end, and it was the right decision as the veteran striker scored the equaliser with an opportunistic strike.
Ledesma 6 – Made himself dangerous only with long range shots.
Mauri 5.5 – Wasted a good chance early on and made some mistakes with his passing. Just five minutes into the second half he was taken off for Meghni (6), who managed to add some incisiveness to Lazio’s moves.
Foggia 6.5 – Very active going forward, he always got involved in Lazio’s forward plays, though he missed a huge chance on a great assist by Meghni halfway through the second half.
Zarate 6 – Made a few of his famous runs and dribbles, but rarely got himself in scoring positions, which is disappointing for a central striker.
Pandev 5.5 – A disappointing evening for the usual outstanding Macedonian striker, who clearly had an off night as he failed to make himself dangerous up front.
Lecce
Benussi 6.5 – Made a number of important saves to keep Lazio in the game, but could not do much about Inzaghi’s close range strike.
Polenghi 6.5 – Very active going forward and kept his position well defensively.
Stendardo 7 – The former Lazio and Juventus defender clearly had a point to prove tonight. An impeccable display from the center back.
Fabiano 6.5 – A makeshift central defender, as he usually plays in midfield, but did quite well alongside Stendardo, making a number of decisive clearences.
Esposito 6 – Focused more on his defensive duties than Polenghi, and made few mistakes in that area.
Giacomazzi 6 – Tried to keep the midfield in order, but was frequently overrun and had to make a number of tactical fouls.
Zanchetta 6.5 – Led the Lecce midfield line well, making a lot of sharp passes and hard tackles as well.
Ariatti 6 – Worked hard for the team, even if sometimes it meant recurring to fouls.
Caserta 6.5 – Midfield playmaker who did not see much of the ball, but came up with inspired moves those few times he did get it. Was replaced in the 70th minute by Boudiansky (5.5), who resorted mostly to wasting time and defensive duties (read: fouls).
Tiribocchi 6.5 – A hard worker up front who also got his reward by scoring what was almost the winning goal for Lecce. Cacia came in his place in the 72nd minute, but saw too little of the ball as Lecce were mostly defending by then.
Castillo 6 – Ran a lot and tried to get involved in Lecce’s rare forays forward, but his team mates did not look for him as much as Tiribocchi. Was substituted with Konan in the 82nd minute.
Lecce bukannya tanpa peluang.
Susunan Pemain:
Lazio: Carrizo; Lichtsteiner, Siviglia, Rozenhal, Radu (Kolarov 60); Brocchi (S Inzaghi 82), Ledesma, Mauri (Meghni 51); Foggia; Zarate, Pandev
Lecce: Benussi; Polenghi, Stendardo, Fabiano, Esposito; Giacomazzi, Zanchetta, Ariatti; Caserta (Boudianski 69); Castillo (Konan 82), Tiribocchi (Cacia 72)

Ronaldinho Bring Victory To Rossonero
Milan came into this game in good form, having won their last three matches in all competitions. However, they were without the injured Alessandro Nesta, Pippo Inzaghi, Tabare Viudez, Andrea Pirlo, Philippe Senderos, and Marco Borriello. Carlo Ancelotti launched the Ka-Pa-Ro in an exciting looking attack, while Paolo Maldini, Marek Jankulovski and Massimo Ambrosini returned to the starting XI after being rested against Reggina in midweek.
Inter were coming off a four game winning streak, but they too had injury problems as Walter Samuel, Luis Jimenez, Maxwell, and Luis Figo were sidelined, with Sulley Muntari suspended. Nicolas Burdisso partnerred Marco Materazzi at centre back, while Mancini, Ricardo Quaresma and Zlatan Ibrahimovic formed the forward trident.
First Half
Inter had the first attempt of the game as Mancini picked up the ball 30 yards from goal, but he dragged his effort well wide of Christian Abbiati's right hand post.
Milan were having all the possession in the early stages, but their first effort didn't arrive until the tenth minute when Ambrosini's deflected long range shot looped harmlessly into Julio Cesar's arms.
Ibrahimovic got into a dangerous position inside the area, but his cross was kicked away by Abbiati, while Kaka asked for a Milan penalty when he received a nudge in the back in the box. It was an entertaining game, and Zambrotta charged forward from right back and unleashed a missile that finished not too far over.
On 16 minutes, Ibrahimovic would have been through on goal had he not had a very heavy first touch which allowed Abbiati to race off his line and dive on the ball.
Down the other end, Kaka's speculative effort fell to Pato inside the area, and his left foot snapshot appeared goalbound until it was charged down by Burdisso.
On 23 minutes Milan were agonizingly close to taking the lead as Kaka went on a mesmerising solo run, beating three men before laying the ball back to Ronaldinho, who saw his ferocious near post shot brilliantly turned around the post by Julio Cesar. It was a simply world class stop by the goalkeeper.
Pato was then put clean through on goal by Zambrotta's fine pass, but he was flagged offside in what replays showed to be a highly debatable decision.
On 36 minutes the deadlock was broken, and it was Ronaldinho who sent the San Siro into ecstasy with his first goal in a Milan shirt. Kaka found space down the right, and crossed into the middle for Ronaldinho's perfect header from the penalty spot into the top corner of the net. Inter players asked for offside but replays showed Materazzi playing Kaka level.
Rino Gattuso was fired up like never before, and he went into the book for a late foul on Quaresma, before having a ferocious touchline argument with Ancelotti, who had asked him to calm down.
Milan came looking for the second, and Pato skinned Christian Chivu, only for Julio Cesar to race off his line and come to the rescue. Kaka then went on another fine run, before going down under pressure from Materazzi, but the referee waved away the penalty appeals.
Second Half
Into the second half and Ronaldinho still seemed to be enjoying himself as he took a ball down beautifully on the left before spraying the ball to Kaka on the right of the area, but the former Sao Paulo man blazed well over.
Mancini had been very quiet for Inter, but he had a decent opening on 51 minutes as he failed to make decent contact on a free kick curled in from the right.
Ronaldinho and Kaka were combining superbly at times, and the former found the latter, whose shot was deflected dangerously wide of the post. Ronaldinho then hit a snapshot off target from 25 yards, as did Kaka once again.
Jose Mourinho knew that changes needed to be made and, just shy of the hour mark, boldly brought on both Adriano and Julio Cruz for Materazzi and Mancini, thus forming a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Zanetti bombed forward from his new left back position, and crossed for Adriano, but the Brazilian's header was directed well off target.
Cruz went a little closer on 70 minutes, as he was afforded space to run at the Milan defence before firing wide. Ibrahimovic had a fine chance seconds later, as he ran unchallenged into acres of spaces, but he lashed the ball a couple of yards wide.
Ancelotti looked to tighten up the ship as Inter started to pile on the pressure, bringing on Mathieu Flamini for the tiring Pato.
Inter were on top now, but with 14 minutes remaining their hopes were hit when Burdisso received a second yellow card for a late foul on Kaka. With Materazzi off the pitch, Inter were now without both of their centre backs who started the game.
Kaka tried to take advantage of the one man advantage, and almost caught out Julio Cesar at his near post after another electric slalom. Mourinho then made his final change, introducing Dejan Stankovic for Vieira.
Stankovic almost scored with his first touch after a brilliant volley from the edge of the area that was beaten away by Abbiati, before Adriano fired the follow-up over.
Tensions were now high, and a touchline row erupted, which led to the departed Materazzi also seeing red. Goalscorer Ronaldinho left the pitch to a standing ovation soon after, with Andriy Shevchenko taking his place.
Milan were still looking for a second. Flamini was denied by Chivu at close range, before Shevchenko sliced his shot disappointingly from a promising position.
The Ukrainian went much closer with two minutes remaining, as his powerful drive was superbly tipped over the bar by Julio Cesar.
There was chaos in the Milan penalty area moments later, as Rossoneri players threw themselves in the line of fire as Adriano, Cambiasso and Quaresma all threatened to get shots in.
In the second minute of injury time Adriano had a glorious chance to equalise as he was left all alone at the back post just yards out on Maicon's cross, but he incredibly headed two yards wide.
Ibrahimovic then volleyed well over from the edge of the area, and Milan knew then that it was their day. Jose Mourinho suffers his first loss as Inter boss, and Milan are now well and truly back in the Scudetto hunt.
Teams

Ronaldinho Permalukan Pemimpin Klasemen...
Ronaldinho menjadi pahlawan sekaligus bintang kemenangan AC Milan atas Inter Milan dalam laga Derby della Madonnina. Gol tunggal Dinho mengantar Rossoneri menang 1-0.
Di masa injury time Inter memiliki peluang terakhirnya menyamakan kedudukan lewat Adriano.
Susunan Pemain
Milan: Abbiati; Zambrotta, Maldini, Kaladze, Jankulovski; Gattuso (Bonera 88), Seedorf, Ambrosini; Kakà , Ronaldinho (Shevchenko 83); Pato (Flamini 74)
Inter: Julio Cesar; Maicon, Burdisso, Materazzi (Cruz 59), Chivu; Zanetti, Cambiasso, Vieira (Stankovic 80); Quaresma, Ibrahimovic, Mancini (Adriano 59)

The Wolf Is Rising Again..
Roma came into this game in desperate need of a win following their poor start to the season. However, they still had injury problems as Juan, David Pizarro, Julio Baptista, Francesco Totti, and Marco Cassetti were sidelined, with Daniele De Rossi suspended. Mirko Vucinic started as the lone frontman supported by Rodrigo Taddei, Simone Perrotta and Jeremy Menez.
Morale was high in the Atalanta camp, as they started the day in joint-second position. Only Christian Vieri, Giacomo Bonaventura, and Karamoko Cissé were unavailable. The evergreen Cristiano Doni tailed the dangerous Sergio Floccari up-front.
First Half
Atalanta had the first attempt of the game within the first 90 seconds as Marino Defendi slashed a half volley over the bar from the edge of the area.
Some nice play from Roma involving John Arne Riise and Alberto Aquilani allowed Menez to force a reaction save out of Ferdinando Coppola, although the Frenchman was flagged offside.
The home side were presented with a promising opportunity on 11 minutes when the referee awarded a free kick right on the edge of the area, but Aquilani blazed the ball disappointingly over. Luca Cigarini also got under a free kick down the other end.
Roma broke the deadlock on 17 minutes, and once again it was defender Christian Panucci, who incredibly has now hit three this season in all competitions. Panucci fired in a low left-footed shot at the back post following a corner, which deflected fortuitously off Thomas Manfredini past a helpless Coppola.
The Giallorossi threatened a second as Aqulani tested Coppola with a looping header. Indeed the young midfielder was having plenty of efforts, and on 26 minutes he shot well over once again from 30 yards.
Just past the half-hour mark Roma doubled their lead, and once again their was more than a hint of luck involved. Menez's pass ricocheted off Gyorgy Garics right into Vucinic's path, and the Montenegrin turned and fired past Coppola.
Atalanta had made little impact on the game, and coach Luigi Del Neri didn't wait around to make change, introducing Diego De Ascentis for Simone Padoin before half time.
Second Half
Del Neri tweaked his team again at the break, as the disappointing Defendi did not emerge from the changing rooms, his place being taken by Jaime Valdes.
Atalanta had the first attempt of the second period, but Leonardo Talamonti's long range shot was deflected well wide.
Vucinic had been in and out of the game for Roma, and he tried his luck with a curling effort from the edge of the area, but he could not find the target.
Menez was really starting to grow into the game as the hour mark approached, and he went on a fine solo run past two players, before going down in the area, but the referee waved play on.
On 62 minutes Atalanta had their best chance of the game as Floccari raced through one-on-one with Alexander Doni, but the striker was not decisive, and eventually Philippe Mexes was able to get a block in. Floccari then had another shot charged down soon after.
Atalanta were now having their best spell of the game and built up a period of pressure. Valdes slammed the ball over the bar via the boot of a defender. On 69 minutes, Valdes almost raced through on goal, but he was denied by a superb last gasp tackle by Mexes.
The Nerazzurri completely dominated the second half possession, as Roma seemed happy to sit back on their two goal lead. However, they were living dangerously and on 77 minutes Atalanta should have pulled one back as Valdes faded his shot wide from a superb position inside the area.
Aquilani had been very quiet in the second half, but five minutes from time he tested Coppola with a long range rocket. Substitute Stefano Chuka Okaka then wasted a promising counter-attacking situation, before Riise unleashed a missile from 30 yards, as Roma finished strongly in the closing stages.
It was an important win for Roma, who get their Scudetto challenge back on track, following a difficult start to the season.
Teams
Roma: Doni, Cicinho, Panucci, Mexes, Riise, Brighi, Aquilani, Taddei, Perrotta, Menez (Virga 66), Vucinic (Okaka 78)
Atalanta: Coppola, Garics (Marconi 82), Talamonti, Manfredini, Bellini, Defendi (Valdes 46), Guarente, Cigarini, Padoin (De Ascentis 37), Doni, Floccari

Srigala Merah Bangkit ( Lagi )...
AS Roma meraih kemenangan keduanya musim ini.
Roma sendiri sempat berpeluang memperbesar keunggulan melalui Alberto Aquilani.
Susunan Pemain
Roma: Doni; Cicinho, Mexes, Panucci, Riise; Aquilani, Brighi; Taddei, Perrotta, Menez (Virga 70); Vucinic (Okaka 79)
Atalanta: Coppola; Garics (Marconi 82), Talamonti, Manfredini, Bellini; Defendi (Valdes 46), Cigarini, Guarente, Padoin (De Ascentis 39); Doni; Floccari

Win 3-1, Pandev Says : its Beautifull Life in Lazio
The Biancocelesti have had a blistering start to the season, winning three of their four matches and only dropping points away at the San Siro against Milan. A major factor in the capital club's success so far has been the youth and quality in their squad, with Argentinian Mauro Zarate particularly standing out as a major player.
Lazio are the top scorers in Serie A, with Zarate on four goals and Goran Pandev on three after his goal in the 3-0 demolition of Fiorentina in midweek.
Pandev, who joined Lazio in 2004, has become a great success and firm fans' favourite since his arrival from rivals Inter Milan. The Macedonian star has settled in well with the Biancocelesti and his partnership with Tomasso Rocchi up front has produced the goods for the capital club. He is now developing a good understanding with new starlet Zarate as well and is finding his time at the club more enjoyable than ever.
“We enjoy ourselves and we fear no one,” said Pandev. “For me this is a beautiful period, but I must still work very hard, especially on my headers.
“Shortly Rocchi will return from injury. It is a great group of players and the new arrivals have integrated well.”
The striker concluded with a thought on the league standings, saying, “I’m not going to speak about the Scudetto, but I hope Roma stay behind us!”

Hantam Torino, Lazio Rebut Capolista
Ketika pertandingan berjalan 62 menit, Lazio berhasil menggandakan keunggulannya.
Skor akhir 3-1.
Susunan Pemain:

Fiorentina vs Genoa 1-0, serie A 2008, week 5
cuplikan pertandingan sepakbola liga Italia 2008, pekan 5, Fiorentina vs Genoa 1-0
Gilardino save Fiorentina ( again )
Fiorentina welcomed Genoa at the Artemio Franchi stadium looking to bounce back immediately from their heavy defeat to Lazio in midweek, which coach Cesare Prandelli dubbed "the worst performance during my period". Genoa, meanwhile, were in completely different spirits as they thrashed Lazio’s cross-town rivals Roma 3-1 at home the same night.
Prandelli played with a 4-3-3 formation with Adrian Mutu, Alberto Gilardino, and Franco Semioli up front, while his Genoa colleague Gian Piero Gasperini responded with a 3-4-3 line-up with Raffaele Palladino, Ruben Olivera, and Marco Rossi in attack. Prolific striker Diego Milito surprisingly started from the bench for Genoa.
First Half
The home side tried to find a quick goal to settle their nerves, and came agonisingly close only three minutes in, when Mutu headed the ball wide on a corner kick by Riccardo Montolivo.
In the early stages there were a lot of fouls from both sides, making it difficult for either team to settle into the match.
In the 17th minute, there was another couple of chances for Fiorentina, as first Massimo Gobbi sent in a dangerous cross that was well grabbed by goalkeeper Rubinho, who was called into action soon afterwards again on a good long range effort from Montolivo.
The home side couldn’t quite take control of the match, though they were the team who showed the most attacking intent, and on the half hour mark Gilardino was in an excellent position to shoot from about 20 meters, but his shot went well over the crossbar (31’).
The first half was a surprisingly dull affair, considering these teams are known to favor offensive tactics. The last chance (if you want to call it that) of the half came in the 37th minute, when Mutu played a nice flick to Montolivo, who in turn played it to Gobbi, but the latter’s poor cross failed to find the Romanian striker who was waiting inside the area.
A few minutes later, in the 40th minute to be precise, Gasperini was forced to make his first substitution as midfielder Omar Milanetto suffered from a muscle injury and was replaced by Ivan Juric.
Second Half
Neither coach opted to make a change during the break, but early in the second half Gasperini decided to bring in Milito for Giandomenico Mesto, and it nearly paid dividends a few minutes later.
In the 53rd minute, in fact, the Argentinean striker had the best chance of the match until that point as he was found alone inside the area and fired a shot that Sebastien Frey saved with his feet.
The match came alive after that, and two minutes later Martin Jorgensen found Alberto Gilardino inside the area, but the striker was denied by a terrific last-gasp tackle from Domenico Criscito (55’).
The home side came close again two minutes after that, when Marco Donadel fired a dangerous low drive from inside the area that Rubinho pushed around the post (57’).
Following this series of chances, Fiorentina did take the lead in the 61st minute, when the red-hot Gilardino controlled the ball on a corner kick, spun around and unleashed a low drive that left Rubinho without a chance. A great strike from the Italian international, who scored his 5th goal in all competitions for the Viola.
In the 67th minute, the visitors came close to equalising when, on a one-two inside the area between Milito and Juric, captain Dario Dainelli had to come up with a great defensive intervention to clear the danger.
Fiorentina seemed to have the match under control after the opening goal, and had an opportunity to build on their lead in the 75th minute, when Mutu was in a good position to shoot from inside the area and sent the ball just wide of the post.
Ten minutes before the end, the home side nearly shot themselves in the foot as defender Per Kroldrup nearly deflected a cross from Palladino into his own net, infuriating Frey (81’).
In the last minutes of the match, the home side resorted mostly to defending as they aimed to hold on to their slim 1-0 lead until the end. Genoa had one final chance in the 93rd minute, but Frey came out well to punch the ball away and anticipate Olivera on a long ball from Juric.
Ultimately, it wasn't enough as they stumbled to a 1-0 defeat to a Fiorentina side that looked nervous at times, but ultimately deserved their victory as they had the most ball possession and the most chances as well.

Gilardino menangkan Fiorentina ( lagi ) !
Alberto Gilardino kembali menjadi pahlawan Fiorentina.
Duet Gila, Adrian Mutu, berkesempatan menambah gol, tapi gagal.

Juventus Holded By Sampdoria
Both teams came into this game needing points and they both left with one each as the spoils were shared at Marassi. Neither side was able to find a winner despite numerous chances being created at both ends.
First Half
Juventus got the game started at Marassi but it was Sampdoria who had the first real chance when Sissoko fouled Palombo but the free kick was wide. Del Piero went down the other end as Juve broke out and his one-two with Molinaro resulted in the defender seeing the studs of Gastaldello's boot's. The Samp stopper went into the book and Del Piero stepped up for the set piece, he brought a fine save out of Antonio Mirante, Nedved followed up on the re-bound but his drive went over.
It was a bright start by both teams as they searched for the early goal, with chances being created thick and fast at both ends. Antonio Cassano was proving to be a menace early on and he tried an outrageous back flick as he latched onto Stankevicius's through ball but Alex Manninger pushed it out.
The home side were playing with a five man midfield and the Bianconeri were struggling against the numbers. Walter Mazzarri's men were controlling the middle of the park and the pressed Juve back. The Old Lady had to revert to soaking up the pressure and breaking on the counter.
However, they lacked pace, with only Camoranesi offering some speed. Sammarco should have given Samp the lead when Cassano found him off the back of one of his trademark runs. However, Chiellini's perfectly timed challenge was enough to ensure the ball crossed the touch line and not the goal line. Juventus went down the other end as Sissoko galloped forward. Nedved fed him perfectly and the Mali international set up Del Piero but the captain saw his effort go out off the post. Luck betrayed the away side this time as they kept huffing.
Juve were lucky not to go behind when Stankevicius had a free and unmarked header on goal. Manninger blamed his defence who seemed to have switched off on Cassano's free kick. The ball was whipped in with pace and just a few centimetres was the difference between miss and goal. Both teams had their chances but neither could find the break through. Poulsen kept on giving the ball away for Juve and it didn't help matters as Claudio Ranieri watched in horror. However, Mellberg saved the day with a perfectly timed challenge. Samp tried their luck from the resulting corner but Manninger punched clear to offer his side some respite.
Del Piero had a glorious chance down the other end but his hooked volley just went over the bar. It was an excellent game played at frantic pace with little between the teams. Both sides were organised and well disciplined and the game was played fairly overall with just a couple of silly challenges.
Second Half
The teams remained unchanged for the second halfSamp began where they had left off. Cassano was outstanding and he tried his luck from a 35-yard free kick but it just went wide. It was a great effort and It's unlikely Manninger would have seen it had it been two inches inside his post. It was the Del Piero to practice his set pieces after Nedved was hacked by Accardi but his shot was poor and lacked accuracy.
The game slowed down a little and both sides were cautious going forward. Samp looked more dangerous and Sammarco will be asking himself how he missed a glorious free header following Cassano's cross. He should have given his side the lead. Juve kept banging a the door and they created several good chances but some poor finishing and the decision by Nedved to keep shooting from distance meant the scores stayed 0-0 as the half ticked on.
Juve were patient in their build up play but at times they were guilty of sitting a bit to deep which invited the pressure. Doria were well covered in midfield and Juve had to rely on working the ball into advanced positions as well as wing play. The match was there to be lost rather than won as both teams struggled to take a lead. The game just seemed to fizzle out towards the end and it had a stop and start feel to it which seemed to spoil the excitement.
Teams:
Sampdoria -(3-5-1-1): Mirante, Luchini(Bottinelli), Gastaldello, Accardi, Stankevicius, Sammarco, Palombo(Dessena), Francheschini, Pieri, Delvecchio, Cassano.
Juventus -(4-4-2): Manninger, Grygera, Mellberg, Chiellini, Molinaro, Camoranesi, Poulsen, Sissoko, Nedved, Amauri, Del Piero(Iaquinta).
Goals: 0-0
Cards: Gastaldello(Sampdoria/Yellow), Luchini(Sampdoria/Yellow), Mellberg(Yellow/Juventus), Camoranesi(Yellow/Juventus)
Juventus Tertahan Lagi
Sampdoria: Mirante; Lucchini (Bottinelli 80), Gastaldello, Accardi; Stankevicius, Sammarco, Palombo (Dessena 74), Franceschini, Pieri; Delvecchio (Bonazzoli 87); Cassano
Juventus: Manninger; Grygera, Mellberg, Chiellini, Molinaro; Camoranesi, Poulsen, Sissoko, Nedved; Amauri, Del Piero (Iaquinta 74)

Inter vs Lecce players rating
Julio Cesar 6.5 - Wasn’t called into action very often, but had to come up with a handful of important saves nonetheless. One of Serie A’s most reliable goalkeepers.
Zanetti 6.5 – Did his job well both at right back (where he hadn’t played for a while), in the first half, and in midfield in the second. The usual strong contribution both defensively and going forward.
Cordoba 6 – Made few missteps and showed his experience on a few occasions when he resolved tricky situations at the back.
Burdisso 6 – Didn’t make any notable mistakes at center back. Also had a chance to score late on, but his header on a corner went wide.
Chivu 6 – Limited himself to defensive duties. Was replaced by Cruz (7) on the hour mark shortly after getting booked, and it proved to be a golden change. The Argentinean striker proved to be decisive yet again with a clinical strike to hand his team a priceless win that sends them top of the table.
Vieira 5.5 – Made a number of poor passes in the first half and was rightly replaced at half time by Maicon (6.5), who proved his value for Inter yet again with a number of dangerous runs and crosses, one of which led to Cruz’s winning goal.
Stankovic 5.5 – Never made himself remotely dangerous in the first half, and Mourinho understandably took him off for Quaresma (6) in the restart. The Portuguese winger showed some of his tricks and trivela crosses, one of which almost led to Adriano scoring, but he could not quite come up with any decisive moves.
Cambiasso 6 – Not many dangerous moments going forward, but did not make many mistakes defensively. Another highly reliable player in his position.
Mancini 5.5 – Frequently failed to control simple balls and rarely made himself dangerous. He had a bit of an off night tonight.
Ibrahimovic 6 – Found himself in dangerous positions frequently, and also made a lot of mistakes, but his header down to Cruz was decisive.
Adriano 5.5 – Missed a massive chance in the first half to open the score on a corner kick, and overall he failed to confirm his good performance against Torino last weekend.
Lecce
Benussi 6 – Made a number of important saves to keep the score goalless, but perhaps he could have done something on Cruz’s winning goal, which was scored on a volley from the edge of the area.
Angelo 6 – Managed to contain Mancini well, but had to come off due to injury early in the second half. He was replaced by Diamoutene (5.5), who was frequently outplayed by Inter’s midfielders.
Stendardo 6.5 – Held firm in the center of the defence and was one of the primary reasons Inter couldn’t score for such a long time.
Fabiano 5.5 – Frequently suffered against both Ibrahimovic and Adriano, and was at fault for Inter’s goal.
Esposito 6 – A diligent display by the young left back, who made some good runs forward, and didn’t make too many mistakes at the back.
Munari 6 – Did what he could do to make himself dangerous on the right wing. When Lecce attacked, he was frequently involved.
Zanchetta 6.5 – Tested Julio Cesar on several occasions with powerful shots and dangerous free kicks.
Ardito 6 – Some solid defensive work in central midfield.
Ariatti 6 – Resorted mostly to defensive duties and struggled to make himself dangerous going forward.
Cacia 5.5 – The decision to play him ahead of Castillo proved to be a wrong one. The striker practically never managed to threaten the Inter defence. Was replaced 15 minutes before the end by Caserta.
Tiribocchi 5 – Confirmed his poor start to the season, in which the 30-year-old striker has failed to find the net. Never even got himself in scoring positions. Early in the second half he was replaced by Castillo (6), who showed he should have started as he at least came close a few times by finding himself in the right place at the right time.
Cruz...Selamatkan Muka Sang Spesial..

Lazio Rise Again
It was billed as the clash of the week as a resurgent Lazio took on Fiorentina. In the end, it was a clash that established for good that the Roman slide will be a force to contend with this season.
After a tactical first half, the deadlock was broken at the start of the second by Stefano Mauri.
It was a counter attack that resulted in a lovely cross from Foggia on the left, the ball found Mauro Zarate at the back post, whose header struck the cross bar, only for Mauri to crash in the rebound in acrobatic fashion.
Fiorentina looked for a response, but in effect, opened the floodgates on themselves. Minutes later, Goran Pandev, who had just been booked, made it 2-0 for Lazio.
Zarate was involved yet again in a one-two, leaving the Macedonian to let fly from just inside the area, his powerful left foot drive beating Frey at the near post.
The misery was complete moments later when Foggia's pass found Sebastian Siviglia, who stroked it past Frey without too much trouble.
That knocked the stuffing out of the Viola, and with 30 minutes to go, it was about seeing if they could avoid an embarrassment.
Giampaolo Pazzini was brought on for an anonymous Adrian Mutu, but that would change little as Lazio gallopped home to a richly deserved win that keeps them firmly in the top four.
Lazio Bangkit, hajar Viola 3-0
Fiorentina tersentak, tapi mereka malah kebobolan lagi.
