Zanetti : I Will Stop Lavezzi !
Inter captain Javier Zanetti has heaped high praise on Argentina teammate Ezequiel Lavezzi but he has warned El Pocho that he will not have it easy when the two teams meet on Sunday.
Lavezzi has been outstanding for his side this season and he is quickly becoming one of the hottest properties around.
The Partenopei travel to the San Siro on Sunday afternoon as they look to keep up their impressive form. El Pocho will be the dangerman but Zanetti is ready to keep the striker shackled to the turf.
“Lavezzi is deadly when he finds the space,” Zanetti told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
“I noticed him at San Lorenzo and you could tell he was very good. Napoli did brilliantly to sign him because not many people have his speed and dribbling.
“We cannot allow him too much space because he is a phenomenon and he showed this last year when Napoli beat us.”
Adriano has been through a roller coaster ride this season hitting both high and low points with the Nerazzurri. Zanetti, just like any good captain, has offered the striker some advice.
“Adriano? That depends on him. If he behaves well then he will achieve great things.” concluded Zanetti.
