Lotito Laughed : Zarate Will Not Move To Bernabeu !
Lazio president Claudio Lotito has laughed at reports linking Mauro Zarate with a move to Real Madrid.
The Argentinean striker has been a revelation since his summer move to Formello and has bagged seven goals so far this term.
Real Madrid's injury crisis up front has led the Spanish club to scour the market in desperation, but Lazio's stall is closed for business.
The chief has denied the reports and insists that Zarate is not for sale at any price as he slams the door shut on his opposite number, Ramon Calderon.
"Real want Zarate? These are all rumours, news without any foundation whatsoever," Lotito told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
"I have never spoken to the Spanish club and Zarate is mine, he will stay here at Lazio."
Although the Roman club are not selling, they will be buying some big name players - but the chief is staying quiet.
"I have two great signings lined up, I will show eveyone," concluded Lotito.
The Bianconcelesti travel to Atalanta on Sunday and they will be hoping to close the seven-point gap between themselves and leaders Inter.
