Shevchenko Will Leave Milan In Winter ?

Andriy Shevchenko re-joined Milan in the summer, after two dismal seasons at Chelsea.

Shevchenko To Leave Milan In January?

The Ukrainian international pushed for a return to the club that shot him to fame, and President Silvio Berlusconi sanctioned the move last August.

However, the 32-year-old has yet to get off the mark in Serie A and has started a single game so far.

He is basically considered the fourth-choice striker by coach Carlo Ancelotti, behind Marco Borriello, Filippo Inzaghi and Alexandre Pato, without even taking into account Kakà and Ronaldinho.

And according to newspaper La Repubblica, the former Dynamo Kyiv star is willing to leave Italy’s fashion capital during the January transfer window.

He has reportedly submitted a transfer request, but Carletto has stalled any deals for the time being.

Before giving the green light, the former Juventus boss is probably eager to evaluate the progress of Borriello, who has been tormented by injury problems so far and is now likely to remain on the sidelines until after the Christmas hiatus.
