Roma Target : Zuculini, Salvio, Crespo

Roma have turned around their season over the last few weeks, have started climbing up the Serie A standings with three wins on the trot and have moved into top spot of their Champions League group, following impressive wins over Chelsea and Cluj.

And their directors are keenly monitoring the transfer market in order to reduce the gap from the three Big Sisters of Italian football, which seems to have considerably increased this term.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, sporting director Daniele Pradé met with former Napoli midfielder Salvatore Bagni yesterday.

The ex-Azzurri man has an encyclopedic football knowledge and has a special relationship with Argentina boss Diego Armando Maradona.

The newspaper reports that several names have come up, particularly those of Lanus striker Eduardo Antonio Salvo and Racing Avellaneda midfielder Franco Zuzulini, who is also reportedly a target for Juve.

However, negotiations for the highly-rated duo are not expected to start before next summer, but the Eternal City outfit could bolster their front line with Argentine marksman Hernan Crespo during the January transfer window, as Valdanito is expected to leave the Stadio San Siro.
