Crespo On The Way To Palermo ?
Hernan Crespo is rumoured to be on his way out of the Nerazurri camp, as he has spent plenty of time on the bench this season under coach Jose Mourinho.
It seemed he was on his way to Real Madrid to replace the injured Ruud Van Nistelrooy, but instead the Merengues have opted to concentrate on bringing in Jan-Klass Huntelaar of Ajax.
33-year-old Crespo now could be on his way to Sicily in January, but only if the Rosanero do not get their first choice - Nilmar from Brazilian club Internacional.
The 24-year-old Brazilian striker is sought after by many European clubs and Palermo are the latest team to throw their name into the hat.
If Crespo were to leave Inter in January for Palermo it would likely be a loan deal until June, at which point the player would be permanently signed. According to tuttomercatoweb, there has also been interest from Genoa and Sampdoria for the former Argentine international.
