Pablo Ibanez, We are More Effective Than Getafe
Both coaches had deduced after the match that a draw would have been the fairest result in an evenly-matched encounter at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.
But defender Pablo believed that his side managed to nick a 1-2 win thanks largely to their efficiency in front of the opposition goal.
“We have been more effective than our rivals and we were able to take our opportunities. That’s why we won,” he declared in the post-match interview.
“The most important thing is the three points and we are all happy with that result. Now we must start thinking about Sevilla,” he added.
Pablo also spoke about his partnership at the heart of defence alongside newcomer Tomas Ujfalusi.
“He is a great teammate and a phenomenal footballer and it is easy to play alongside him.
