Lazio Ready For Fiorentina's Kusmanovic

After an impressive start to the season, Lazio have been stuttering in recent weeks and have collected only a single point out of their last three outings.

Press reports in the peninsula allege that President Claudio Lotito will look for reinforcements during the upcoming transfer window and the Biancocelesti have apparently targeted Fiorentina for their winter shopping.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Laziali have enquired after Gigliati midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic, but the Tuscans have reiterated that the Serbian international is not for sale.

Nonetheless, the Formello-based outfit are confident of pulling off the coup and could include full-back Lorenzo De Silvestri in the deal, as the 20-year-old is finding it difficult to get much playing time at the Stadio Olimpico after Swiss defender Stephan Lichtsteiner arrived this summer.

Moreover, the outspoken Lazio chief has suggested a swap deal involving Manuel Pasqual and Luciano Zauri.

The Viola left-back is looking for a fresh start away from the Stadio Artemio Franchi, as he has slid down the pecking order following the arrival of Juan Manuel Vargas, whereas Zauri was already loaned out to the Tuscans in the summer.
