Ranieri Want Three Point From Lecce

Lecce welcome the Bianconeri to their home ground in the hopes that the Turin side will show them mercy.

Ranieri Demands Three Points Against Lecce
Juventus have won six of their last seven Serie A matches but crucially lost to Inter at the San Siro during that spell.

Juve travel to Lecce looking to warm up for next weekend's home encounter against Milan, but the visitors are expected to cruise to victory against the newly-promoted side, who are currently struggling in the top flight.

Juve will want to make up ground on leaders Inter, six points ahead of them, and with a win against Lecce they will certainly keep up the pressure at the top.

Speaking at a press conference today, Ranieri said, “I don't want the second spot. I want to play for first until the very end, although Inter have demonstrated that they are the best team because they were able to play very well even with many players missing.”

Ranieri continued, “The game against Lecce will be a very important one because if we lose points Inter will be on their way. I have great respect for Beretta and his players, but the quality of my boys is there for all to see.”

The coach added, “We will be up against a strong side, and they will not be easy to beat. In order to do well against them we will have to show the best Juve side.”
