Youth Madrid Coach Resign

Things just keeping getting worse and worse at Real Madrid, with the latest bad news being that former player, José Miguel González Martín del Campo 'Michel', has resigned from his position as youth team director today.

The midfielder, who racked up over 400 appearances for Los Blancos, is believed to have been uncomfortable in the role for a while now, according to Marca, and that has led him to resign.

The details are currently being discussed about his severance but the stance is firm from Michel and his lawyers.

The news will come as a blow to Real Madrid fans, some of whom had him inked in as their 'Pep Guardiola'. The former Barcelona player of course came from youth team coach to take over the main side but now that will not happen with Michel.

The only bright spot at the club at the moment is the signing of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who will be unveiled tomorrow at the Bernabéu.
