Claudio Lotito : English Clubs Is Get Sick !
Everyone is aware of the fact that to be successful in the world of football, money plays some part, irrespective of its significance.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito has made it clear in the past that he is a strong believer of this, and he made that even clearer in the summer just gone, where he brought in a plethora of fresh new talent to his squad.
He discussed how some four years ago, he made a statement indicating that he was not “surprised by the crisis of the English football clubs,” as some of them were struggling to cope with tax payments and the like.
“For years, many teams were in debt to taxes. However, today they are forced to pay; otherwise they would not be permitted to enter the championships.
Lotito is on top of the world at the moment, as his Lazio side currently head the Serie A table, with four wins from their opening six matches, perhaps the reasoning behind why he brought up such an issue.

Presiden Lazio Claudio Lotito ternyata juga sangat mempercayai hal ini. Kini ia kembali menegaskan keyakinannya itu, setelah pada musim panas lalu klubnya banyak mendatangkan darah baru.
Empat tahun lalu, ia sempat membuat pernyataan menghebohkan, yang intinya ia tidak terkejut oleh krisis keuangan yang dialami oleh klub-klub sepakbola Inggris, saat mereka harus berjuang untuk membayar tunggakan pajak.
"Selama bertahun-tahun, banyak tim di sana yang dililit hutang pajak. Tapi kini mereka harus membayar semua, atau terpaksa keluar dari kompetisi," ujar sang presiden yang terkenal blak-blakan.
"Saya sendiri dulu memerlukan waktu tiga tahun untuk menata Lazio kembali. Jika ada hutang yang belum terbayar, mereka akan diivestasikan pada hal-hal lain. Yang jelas saya berusaha untuk menjaga warisan sejarah masyarakat," terangnya.
Lotito saat ini tengah berada di puncak dunia. Lazio bertengger di tempat teratas klasemen sementara Serie A, dengan empat kemenangan dari enam pertandingan. Mungkin inilah alasan kenapa ia mengungkit-ungkit kembali pernyataannya di masa lampau.
